RoomGlow ("we", "us", the "app") is an AI interior-design app that turns a photo of your room into a restyled redesign. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using RoomGlow you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Room photos. When you take or choose a photo to redesign, that image is sent to our cloud service and our AI image partner to generate the redesigned result. We do not use your photos for advertising and we do not sell them.
- Account information. If you sign in, we collect your email address and (for Google sign-in) your name and profile picture, to create and secure your account.
- Usage information. Basic information needed to run the app, such as how many redesigns (credits) you have used.
- Device permissions. Camera (to photograph your room) and Photos/Storage (to select a photo). These are used only when you choose to add a photo.
How we use your information
- To generate AI redesigns of the room photos you submit.
- To create your account, sign you in, and track your remaining redesign credits.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
- To respond to your support requests.
Third-party services we use
We use trusted providers to run the app. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service:
- Google Sign-In — account authentication.
- Supabase — secure account and authentication storage.
- fal.ai & Google (Gemini image model) — process your room photo to create the AI redesign.
- Netlify — hosts our backend service.
- Affiliate partners (e.g. Amazon, Wayfair) — the "Shop the look" links open these partners' websites; their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Photo storage & retention
Your original room photos are sent to our AI partner for processing and are not kept on our servers long-term. Redesigned images may be temporarily hosted by our image provider so they can be shown to you. Your saved redesigns are stored on your own device. Account information is kept while your account is active.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page, or email us at the address below. We will delete your account data within 30 days of a verified request.
Children
RoomGlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date.
